When the clock strikes twelve at midnight on December 31st, the New Year may be a significant event for many people. This is particularly for tonight since we are entering a new decade.
People all over the world cheer and wish each other a very Happy New Year.
For some, this event is no more than a change of a calendar, just like another night.
For others, the New Year symbolizes the beginning of a better tomorrow.
For those who feel that 2009, or the last ten years, weren’t the best that could have been, and aren’t looking forward to 2010, then these people require a change in their ways and habits. As Mary Engelbreit said “If you don’t like something change it; if you can’t change it, change the way you think about it.”
